Support Confirmed for Unmarried, Non-Homeowning Youth Aged 19 to 39
Up to 150,000 KRW Per Month for Rent and Rental Deposit Interest
Ulsan City has finalized the list of households eligible for the "2025 Ulsan Youth Household Housing Cost Support Program" to help young people achieve housing stability and settle in the region.
The "Ulsan Youth Household Housing Cost Support Program" provides cash support for up to four years (48 months) to unmarried heads of households aged 19 to 39 who do not own a home, live in rental housing located in Ulsan with a deposit of 100 million KRW or less and monthly rent of 500,000 KRW or less, and whose household income is 150% or less of the median income.
The city plans to invest 2 billion KRW to support housing costs for a total of 1,713 households, including 886 households who continue to meet this year's criteria and 827 newly selected households.
Selected households must apply for the housing cost support each quarter through the Ulsan Housing Support Portal website, and can receive up to 150,000 KRW per month per household, covering actual expenses such as 100,000 KRW for rent and 50,000 KRW for rental deposit interest.
A Ulsan City official stated, "In the current economic situation characterized by high interest rates and inflation, which has intensified job shortages and financial difficulties, we expect that housing cost support for youth households will help stabilize housing and encourage young people to settle in Ulsan."
Ulsan City is implementing various projects such as the Temporary Special Youth Monthly Rent Support Program and the Newlywed Housing Support Program to improve housing stability and living standards for young people, and is continuously developing diverse policies to further stabilize the lives of the youth in the future.
