On the 7th, the Seoul Seocho Police Station announced that they received notification from the National Forensic Service (NFS) that Lee's hair tested positive for marijuana.

Lee is suspected of attempting to retrieve liquid marijuana buried in a flowerbed in a residential area of Seocho-gu last October using the so-called 'throwing' method, but the attempt was unsuccessful. At the time, Lee visited the crime scene with his wife and another person in a rental car, and the police have booked these three individuals along with a suspect who provided the marijuana, totaling four people.

Lee showed a negative reaction in a preliminary reagent test immediately after arrest. The police are continuing the investigation by sending urine and hair samples of the four individuals to the NFS for detailed examination.
