Songpa-gu and Songpa Tax Office Hold 'Startup Education & Networking Day'
Collaboration with Korea Communications Agency and Korea National Sport University... Full Support for Young Entrepreneurs
Songpa-gu (Mayor Seo Gang-seok) announced that it is collaborating with related local organizations to provide various support measures to assist and nurture young entrepreneurs in the area.
On the 21st of last month, the district held the 'March Startup Education & Networking' event for young CEOs at the Songpa ICT Youth Startup Support Center in partnership with the Songpa Tax Office.
With the recent surge in startups among the youth, the district explained that it planned tax-related education in cooperation with the Songpa Tax Office to provide practical assistance to young CEOs in the region.
At the event, representatives from the Songpa Tax Office, including the head of the office, the taxpayer protection officer, and tax investigators, introduced various tax support programs to facilitate the smooth operation of early-stage startups. They provided information on tailored systems for young entrepreneurs who cannot afford to hire tax agents due to poor financial conditions, such as the 'Small Taxpayer Support Group System' and the 'Public Defender System.'
The young entrepreneurs who attended the education shared feedback such as, "I learned useful information necessary for business, including customized services from volunteer tax accountants and accountants according to the business cycle," and "Providing timely tax-related education allows me to focus on operations without worrying about taxes."
Additionally, tax accountant Choi Si-young delivered a lecture on tax education, greetings, and labor management methods. Especially, based on years of coaching experience, he imparted essential tax knowledge that startups must know, which received very positive responses from the attendees.
Following this, there was a group discussion involving young CEOs. They discussed the management difficulties faced by young entrepreneurs, shared secrets to successful operations and experiences, thereby forming networks and creating opportunities for mutual cooperation and development.
Moreover, the district supports the operation of the 'Songpa ICT Youth Startup Support Center' through a joint job creation cooperation agreement with the Korea Communications Agency (KCA), and collaborates with Korea National Sport University to promote Songpa-gu's youth startup support programs, actively working to support youth entrepreneurship.
Seo Gang-seok, Mayor of Songpa-gu, stated, "We will actively cooperate with various related organizations such as the Songpa Tax Office and Korea National Sport University to ensure that young entrepreneurs in Songpa receive practical assistance," adding, "We will continue to make Songpa a favorable place for youth startups and further discover and expand customized support measures for youth in various fields, who are the leaders of the future."
