On the 5th, Arbor Day, the entire country is expected to be mostly cloudy with rain.
Rain that began falling from dawn in the metropolitan area, central and northern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and the northern West Coast of Chungnam will spread to most regions nationwide by morning and mostly stop by night.
Expected precipitation amounts are 5?20 mm in the metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and the Chungcheong region; 5?10 mm in Jeonbuk and northeastern inland and mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk; and around 5 mm in the Gangwon East Coast, Gwangju and Jeonnam, Daegu and Gyeongbuk excluding northeastern inland and mountainous areas, Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, Ulleungdo, Dokdo, and Jeju Island.
In the central and northern mountainous areas of Gangwon above 1000 meters in elevation, around 1 cm of snow may fall in some places.
In areas where rain is falling, there may be gusts of wind accompanied by thunder and lightning, so caution is advised regarding facility management and safety accidents.
The morning low temperatures will range from 3 to 9 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs will be between 11 and 17 degrees Celsius.

Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the influence of precipitation.
However, at night, as foreign fine dust flows in along the northwesterly current, the metropolitan area and Chungnam will temporarily experience 'Unhealthy' levels.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea and West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea coastal waters.
Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea.
