455 Pregnant Women to Receive Annual Support of 480,000 KRW
with 20% Personal Contribution Included
Gijang-gun (Governor Jung Jongbok) is implementing the '2025 Eco-friendly Agricultural Product Package Support Project for Pregnant Women' and will be accepting applications until the 25th.
This project aims to provide fresh and safe eco-friendly agricultural products to pregnant women, supporting healthy eating habits and promoting the consumption of eco-friendly agricultural products within the region.
A total of 455 local pregnant women will be selected to receive a package of eco-friendly agricultural products worth 480,000 KRW per person annually, including a personal contribution of 96,000 KRW.
Eligible applicants are pregnant women residing in Gijang-gun who have given birth after January 1, 2024, or are currently pregnant as of the application date. However, those who have received support from the Nutrition Plus Project or the Agro-food Voucher Program are excluded. If there are more applicants than available spots, final recipients will be selected by lottery.
Applications can be submitted online through Ecoemall, or by visiting the local Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Center with the required documents such as a resident registration certificate and a pregnancy confirmation certificate.
Selected pregnant women can choose from a variety of products, including eco-friendly agricultural products and organic processed foods, from the supplier's online mall. By paying 20% of the order amount as a personal contribution, the products will be delivered directly to their homes.
Jung Jongbok, Governor of Gijang-gun, stated, "This support project is not only important for protecting the health of pregnant women and their babies, but also for supporting sustainable eco-friendly agricultural production," and added, "We hope for active interest and participation from local pregnant women."
