Jin Gyo-hoon, the mayor of Gangseo District Office in Seoul, held an 'emergency executive meeting' immediately after the decision to accept the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol on the 4th, urging for unwavering district administration.

On that day, Mayor Jin convened senior officials and ordered the continuity and stable promotion of urgent tasks such as alleviating residents' anxiety and stabilizing the livelihood economy. He said, "Instability has continued during the impeachment government, and now is a very serious time with the president's dismissal," adding, "At times like this, public officials must fulfill their responsibilities as servants for the residents above all."

Mayor Jin also said, "Please ensure that administrative areas closely related to residents' lives, such as handling civil complaints and public services, as well as various projects to revitalize the livelihood economy, proceed smoothly as planned."

Gangseo District is making every effort to revive the livelihood economy and domestic demand, which have been difficult due to the impeachment political situation. In addition, the district plans to strengthen administrative and financial support for small business owners and small and medium-sized enterprises, manage local prices to stabilize residents' shopping basket prices, and steadily promote welfare services for vulnerable groups such as the disabled and low-income families.
