Since 2016, the continuous development of the Innopolis Campus project over the past nine years has aimed to strengthen the technology-based capabilities of local youth and prospective entrepreneurs, as well as to expand and internalize the employment and entrepreneurship network within the Jeonbuk Special Zone.

Main programs include discovering and nurturing technology-based entrepreneurs linked to regional industries, along with operating a variety of employment and entrepreneurship education programs. Through this, the plan is to support local youth talents in building practical skills for starting businesses and finding jobs. In addition, outstanding deep-tech-based startup items will be selected, and the chosen entrepreneurs will receive support for prototype production costs, helping them achieve stable growth in the early stages of their businesses.

In particular, this project will operate specialized programs reflecting the characteristics of regional industries, survey the recruitment demand of local companies, and strengthen internship and industry-customized education programs. At the same time, it plans to establish a deep-tech-based industry-academia-research and public technology collaboration network.

Through these efforts, a support system will be established to connect the technologies of local universities and research institutions with entrepreneurs, and expand field-oriented education that helps young people find real jobs. Furthermore, through company-customized employment support programs, the aim is to resolve local manpower shortages and contribute to job creation.

Lee Sangwoo, head of the Innopolis Campus Project Group, said, "As a key university in the Jeonbuk Special Zone, we will do our best to create a sustainable startup ecosystem by fostering technology-based entrepreneurship and talent development linked to regional industries," and added, "We will contribute to revitalizing the local economy by strengthening practical, hands-on entrepreneurship and employment education programs."

Meanwhile, this project, centered at the Jeonbuk Tech Biz Center under the Jeonbuk Research and Development Special Zone Headquarters, targets prospective deep-tech entrepreneurs and local technology-based job seekers. By providing customized education linked to regional industries, it is expected to contribute to revitalizing the local economy.
