The recruitment targets are those who wish to start a business in Sunchang County. Eligible applicants must not be enrolled in the four major social insurances as of the application date, or be existing entrepreneurs whose 2024 sales are less than 150 million KRW and who are able to engage in activities similar to starting a business, such as changing or adding business types on their business registration certificate. In particular, priority will be given to young people aged 19 to 39, business owners related to the sixth industry, and those engaged in Sunchang County's specialized industries or online platform-related industries.

The county will hold a project briefing session for participants this month and provide basic and advanced entrepreneurship education as well as mentoring programs. Afterwards, through an entrepreneurship competition, initial business funds will be awarded: 8 million KRW for first place (1 person), 7 million KRW each for second place (3 people), and 6 million KRW each for third place (3 people), to support practical entrepreneurship and job creation. In addition, the county plans to establish a sustainable startup environment through networking programs and follow-up management.

County Governor Choi Youngil said, "We expect this project to create quality jobs in the county and contribute to increasing the residential population," adding, "We will continue to do our best to expand practical employment and entrepreneurship opportunities in the region."
