Electric Vehicle-Exclusive 'iON evo' and Ultra-High-Performance 'Ventus evo'

The electric vehicle-exclusive performance tire test was conducted on products from eight global brands, including Michelin, Goodyear, and Continental, with the iON evo included. The iON evo received excellent evaluations overall, including aquaplaning, braking power, handling, rolling resistance, and quietness, ranking first. It recorded top scores in handling and braking performance on both wet and dry surfaces.
Starting with the iON evo in 2023, Hankook Tire has proven its technological prowess by topping the electric vehicle-exclusive performance tire test for three consecutive years, including the electric SUV-specific product 'iON evo SUV' in 2024.
In the ultra-high-performance tire test, the 'Ventus evo' showed the most outstanding performance in braking, the category most closely related to vehicle safety, among the compared products. It recorded the shortest braking distance on wet surfaces and ranked first in dry surface handling, earning the highest rating.
Auto Bild evaluated, "The iON evo is a product that combines excellent aquaplaning prevention and braking performance on wet surfaces with outstanding driving dynamics and quietness," and "The Ventus evo impressed with dynamic driving dynamics and excellent braking performance in all driving conditions."
