'28 Years of Tradition' Suwon-si Sustainable Association Holds Workshop... Seminar and More Conducted

The Suwon Sustainable Development Council held the '15th Committee Workshop' on the 3rd at the Deoham Park Grand Lecture Hall.

Lee Jae-jun, Mayor of Suwon, attended the workshop and said, "Suwon is a city that has practiced sustainable development together with its citizens," adding, "Behind this is the Suwon Sustainable Development Council, which has consistently supported us for 28 years."

He continued, "I hope you will continue to accompany us unwaveringly for the sustainable development of Suwon."

This workshop was organized to monitor the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to strengthen report writing capabilities for the newly formed 15th committee members.

At the workshop, Park Yeon-hee, Director of ICLEI Korea Office, gave a lecture on "International Trends in Sustainable Development and the Direction of SDGs," followed by human rights education using promotional videos from the National Human Rights Commission.

Also, in the 'Sector-specific Practical Case Analysis Seminar,' experts in the environment, economy, and social sectors explained the "Methodology for Writing Monitoring Reports on Indicators and Implementation Tasks," and a Q&A session on practical cases was held.
