Hwasun County, Jeonnam Wins 'Korea Best Management Award' for Third Consecutive Year

Policies to Overcome the Crisis of Local Extinction Gain Attention
Including 10,000-Won Rental Housing and Youth House

Hwasun County (Governor Koo Bokgyu) announced on the 3rd that it received the Grand Prize in the Leadership Management category at the 10th Korea Best Management Awards ceremony.

This marks the third award, following the Grand Prize in the Regional Economic Revitalization category in 2023 and the Grand Prize in the Leadership Management category in 2024. This award is hosted by Maekyung Media Group and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, among others.

Last year, Hwasun County was recognized for its external achievements by promoting projects such as 10,000-won rental housing for youth and newlyweds, the first 1,000-won childcare Hwasun-type 24-hour daycare center in Jeonnam, and Youth House.

Governor Koo Bokgyu of Hwasun County said, "Thanks to the combined efforts of county residents and public officials, a variety of policies have been rapidly implemented during the three years of the 8th popularly elected administration, and I am grateful for the positive evaluation we have received." He added, "This year as well, we will do our utmost to sequentially implement major policies to renew Hwasun and bring happiness to our residents."
