The police began checking the 112 emergency call records to find the guardian. Later, when the child started to walk around inside the police substation and adapt to the environment, the guardian arrived. The police handed the child over to the guardian and then took both of them home in a patrol car. According to the police investigation, the child had a disability, and although the guardian cared for the child daily, the child had gone outside alone while the guardian briefly fell asleep.
The guardian expressed gratitude to the citizen and the police, saying, "If you see a child in a dangerous situation, please do not hesitate to report it," and added, "A little attention can be a great help." The police stated, "We were able to quickly identify the child's guardian through the 112 system's report history and safely reunite them," and "We thank the reporter who found and protected the child."
