The ‘Byeolbit Messenger’ is a cooperative network aimed at strengthening communication between citizens and the administration, reflecting various opinions from the local community in city governance, and promoting practical cooperation such as joint projects.
The event was attended by about 100 people, including Mayor Joo Gwang-deok of Namyangju City, heads of social organizations, and local leaders active in various fields such as culture, education, youth, and apartment complexes. The program proceeded in the order of △ explanation of the background and role of the Byeolbit Messenger △ introduction of activities by each organization △ declaration of launch △ congratulatory remarks by the Mayor of Namyangju and communication.
A local leader who attended the launching ceremony said, “Although I have lived in Byeollae-dong for a long time, this is the first time that local leaders have gathered in one place like this.” He added, “The time spent introducing ourselves directly and communicating was very meaningful, and I will actively contribute to the development of Byeollae-dong in the future.”
Mayor Joo Gwang-deok said, “Cooperation with local leaders is essential for regional development,” and added, “I expect the Byeolbit Messenger to serve as a bridge reflecting diverse opinions within the region and to become a communication platform that creates practical change.”
