The parking lot construction sites include one in Cheoin-gu, two in Giheung-gu, and two in Suji-gu. The city will first build parking lots by December next year at ▲ Yeokbuk Cultural Park in Cheoin-gu (125 spaces) ▲ Anmaeul Park in Gugal-dong, Giheung-gu (114 spaces) ▲ Towol Park in Pungdeokcheon-dong, Suji-gu (113 spaces). Construction for parking lots will also begin in the second half of next year at Gwankok Neighborhood Park in Giheung-gu (145 spaces) and Dongcheon Sports Park in Suji-gu (84 spaces).

The city plans to proceed with the project by constructing underground parking lots beneath the parks and then restoring the parks on top.

Lee Sang-il, Mayor of Yongin City, said, "We will continue to expand parking infrastructure to enhance citizens' convenience in transportation and parking."
