Specifically, ▲minor repairs include wallpapering, flooring, and window replacement ▲moderate repairs include window installation, insulation, and heating system work ▲major repairs include roof, kitchen, and bathroom renovation.
Under this consignment agreement, the city will provide project funds of 221 million KRW necessary for home renovation and repair, while the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) Northern Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters will be responsible for establishing the annual repair plan and managing the overall project.
An official from Uijeongbu City stated, “Through this project, the living environment of housing benefit recipient households residing in Uijeongbu will be greatly improved, and their quality of life will be enhanced. We will continue to identify vulnerable groups in need of housing support and strive to create a livable city through the realization of housing welfare.”
