Basic and Detailed Design Services to Begin from July Until December Next Year
Ulsan Ulju County announced on the 2nd that it will begin basic and detailed design services for the Eonyang Bansong to Beomseo Cheonsang road construction project starting in July.
The Eonyang Bansong to Beomseo Cheonsang road construction project was initiated to prepare for the increasing traffic demand in Cheonsang-ri, Ulju County, and to proactively prevent traffic congestion. The feasibility study conducted in 2023 confirmed the project's viability, leading to its final approval.
The total length of the road will be 3.64 kilometers, with a project budget of approximately 45 billion KRW. The road will connect Dungiri in Samdong-myeon and Cheonsang-ri in Beomseo-eup, linking with the Eonyang Bansong to Samdong Sangjak road, which opened last year.
Ulju County plans to commence the basic and detailed design services in July and continue them until December next year. The route will be selected by the first half of next year, followed by a residents' briefing session, construction technology review, and value engineering (VE) for design, among other administrative procedures.
An official from Ulju County stated, "We expect that the opening of the Eonyang Bansong to Beomseo Cheonsang road will greatly alleviate transportation inconveniences for local residents."
