Good Price Stores are businesses that offer products and services at prices lower than the local average, designated based on a comprehensive evaluation of cleanliness, quality, and service.
The district provides designated Good Price Stores with support benefits worth 500,000 KRW, which store owners can choose from, including volume-based garbage bags, air conditioner cleaning, kitchen hood cleaning, and floor cleaning.
The recruitment targets individual service fee sectors operating within the area, such as food service, beauty and hair salons, and laundry services. From this year, corporate businesses and stores specializing in takeout and delivery can also apply. However, franchise stores are excluded from eligibility.
Consumers using Good Price Stores will receive card benefits. If a consumer pays 10,000 KRW or more by card at a Good Price Store, they can receive a 2,000 KRW refund benefit. Different card companies participate each month, and the status and schedule of partner cards can be checked on the Good Price Store website.
Meanwhile, since the 26th of last month, the district has provided customized benefits worth 700,000 KRW to 53 previously designated Good Price Stores in the area. The amount of benefit support varies depending on the timing of the Good Price Store designation.
District Mayor Park Hee-young stated, “We hope to discover hidden gem stores within Yongsan through this new recruitment,” and added, “We will also pay close attention to providing customized support for Good Price Stores.”
