In 2024, 358 domestic venture companies applied, and finally, 41 companies hired 206 Indian software (SW) developers. This year's project will be actively promoted starting with the recruitment of participating venture companies, and from the 1st of next month, Indian SW developers will be recruited locally in India, with continuous talent matching pursued until the end of the year. This year, to secure various job seeker pool channels within India, the local desks in India will be expanded from the existing 2 locations to a total of 4, planning to double the Indian software talent pool from 15,000 to 30,000.

On the 22nd, a business briefing session will be held at Tipstown S1 in Seoul to help venture companies participating in the project understand legal issues, employment relationships, and considerations when hiring Indian SW local personnel, covering all aspects of recruitment. Detailed information about the briefing session will also be available through subsequent announcements.

Kim Bong-deok, Venture Policy Officer at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, said, “Building on last year’s experience, we are doing our best to resolve the software personnel shortage for small and venture companies by doubling the talent pool this year.” He added, “We will continuously upgrade the project by communicating with the hiring companies and Indian SW developers participating in the project.”
