Dain Acquires Trost, Korea's No.1 Mental Healthcare Platform

Subsidiary of Nudge Healthcare, ‘Dain,’ announced on the 2nd that it has acquired Humart Company’s No. 1 domestic mental healthcare platform, ‘Trost.’

Dain Acquires Trost, Korea's No.1 Mental Healthcare Platform

Through this acquisition, Nudge Healthcare has secured Trost following last year’s acquisition of ‘Dain,’ a specialized EAP (Employee Assistance Program) company, establishing the strongest mental health portfolio in Korea. Based on this, they officially launched the integrated B2B·B2C mental care platform ‘Nudge EAP,’ solidifying leadership not only in physical health but also in mental health care.

Trost, which pioneered non-face-to-face psychological counseling in Korea, has grown into the country’s No. 1 psychological counseling application. It offers suitable solutions for everyone?from users seeking to relieve mild depression or anxiety through free and paid psychological solutions to those needing professional psychological treatment and chronic patients requiring long-term management.

Trost supports various mental health management solutions on a single platform, including non-face-to-face psychological counseling, self-care programs, artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots, and information on psychiatry and medication. It is the first in the industry to introduce data-driven AI solutions, enabling more efficient mental care.

With this acquisition, Trost’s services have also been integrated into Nudge Healthcare’s health management app, ‘Cashwalk.’ Users can access Trost via an icon within the Cashwalk app and utilize a variety of services to check their mental health status, such as depression tests, self-esteem tests, and MBTI depression tests. Additionally, they can enjoy soundscapes, sleep music, quotes and famous lines, and audiobook content that help with mental and physical relaxation. The community feature also allows users to share opinions and communicate about mental health.

A representative from Humart Company stated, “Although interest in mental health is increasing, the rate of people receiving professional help remains low. We expect that, together with Nudge Healthcare, we will be able to lower the barriers to mental health management for more people and support easy and convenient access to help.”

Jungsin Park, CEO of Nudge Healthcare, said, “Following last year’s acquisition of ‘Dain,’ we expect strong synergy in the mental healthcare field through this year’s acquisition of ‘Trost.’ We will provide various psychological solutions covering both B2B and B2C more easily and conveniently to help users maintain a healthy daily life.”
