The inspection targets all facilities in the eastern region except for national and public daycare centers. Moving away from a crackdown-focused approach, the city plans to incorporate feedback from childcare sites and provide customized consulting to offer practical support.
The main inspection items include ▲appropriateness of accounting practices ▲operation of meals and snacks, health and hygiene management ▲compliance with CCTV installation and operation standards ▲safety management of facilities, covering all aspects of daycare center operations.
Park Min-cheol, head of Hwaseong City Eastern Branch Office, said, "Through this inspection, we aim to provide a childcare environment where children are happy and establish a system that parents can trust and feel secure leaving their children in."
