Search Results and AI Summary Information
Now Viewable Simultaneously on Google, Naver, Daum, and Nate
Four Models Including GPT 4o-mini Available
SK Telecom (SKT) announced on the 1st that it has launched the 'A. Chrome Extension' available on Google's internet browser Chrome. This is to enable customers to conveniently use the multi-large language model (LLM) agent function of the AI assistant service A. (Aidot).
Users who install the Aidot extension can check Aidot's keyword core summary results on the right side of the search results screen of portal sites such as Google, Naver, Daum, and Nate.
The Aidot Chrome extension can only be installed in the PC web environment. Through the extension, users can view summary results using one of the AI models: AidotX (A.X), Perplexity Sona, GPT 4o-mini, or Claude 3.5 Haiku.
To use other AI models provided by Aidot, users need to click the 'Chat with various LLM models on Aidot' function button and log in to the Aidot web page.
SKT expects that this extension will improve the convenience of search service usage for users utilizing Chrome. Since the extension simultaneously displays search pages and AI service results, it is also anticipated to enhance accessibility to AI services through Aidot.
SKT plans to introduce additional useful features such as document creation and video summarization in the future.
Meanwhile, on the 27th of last month, SKT added the AI service 'Liner' to Aidot. Aidot users can use the 'Liner Pro' model for free. Liner is characterized by providing reliable sources for each sentence in the search results to deliver accurate answers. The Liner Pro introduced in Aidot uses a self-trained document ranking algorithm to select important documents and provide accurate answers along with sources.
Kim Yong-hoon, head of SKT's Aidot Business Division, said, "The launch of the Aidot Chrome extension for the Google Chrome browser is to make it easier and more convenient for users to use AI services," adding, "SKT will continue to develop and introduce various AI-linked functions that can maximize users' convenience through AI."
