"High Demand and Interest in the European Market Confirmed"
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency announced on the 1st that domestic broadcasting production companies participating in 'Series Mania 2025,' which concluded last month on the 28th in Lille, France, recorded export consultation amounts totaling 24.83 million USD (approximately 36.5 billion KRW).

Series Mania is the largest broadcasting and video series market event in Europe. From the 25th to the 27th of last month, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency operated a Korean joint pavilion for three days to support domestic producers' entry into the European market.
Eight companies participated in the Korean joint pavilion, including CJ ENM, Hidden Sequence, KBS Media, KT ENA, MBC, Mr. Romance, SLL JoongAng, and Studio S. At the showcase held on the 25th, nine works such as "A Week Before I Die," "24-Hour Health Club," "Lady Okssi," and "Connection" were unveiled, attracting great interest from European buyers.
Park In-nam, head of the Broadcasting and Video Division at the Korea Creative Content Agency, said, "We confirmed the high demand and interest in Korean series within the European broadcasting market," adding, "We will actively create opportunities for overseas market entry, including global distribution and localization of K-content."
