Held at KINTEX from the 4th to the 13th
Lotte Chemical Group and Lotte Innovate to Participate
Comprehensive Exhibition of the Group's Mobility Business
Lotte announced on the 1st that it will participate in the '2025 Seoul Mobility Show' held at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do from the 4th to the 13th.
The Lotte chemical group (Lotte Chemical, Lotte Energy Materials, Lotte Infracell), Lotte Innovate, and Lotte Global Logistics will participate to comprehensively introduce the group's mobility business, including eco-friendly energy and autonomous driving. This is the first time Lotte is participating in the Mobility Show.
Marking its 30th anniversary this year, the Seoul Mobility Show is the only international motor show in Korea certified by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles (OICA). In line with the trend of electrification and autonomous driving expansion, the name was changed from 'Motor Show' to 'Mobility Show' in 2021. This year, under the theme "Mobility Everywhere," 451 companies from 12 countries will participate to showcase their mobility products and technologies.
Lotte will organize the exhibition under the theme "L.Mobility Panorama," allowing visitors to get a comprehensive view of the future mobility value chain based on eco-friendly energy envisioned by Lotte. The Lotte exhibition hall is divided into three zones: the Mobility Technology Zone, which displays actual battery core materials, mobility interior and exterior materials, and EVSIS electric vehicle chargers; the Autonomous Driving Zone, where visitors can experience delivery robots and future mobility systems; and the Hydrogen Value Chain Zone, which introduces the process of producing electric energy through hydrogen. In the Hydrogen Value Chain Zone, the group’s core hydrogen business will be presented in an easy-to-understand manner, showing the entire process from production to charging and utilization through graphics, models, and videos.
Lotte Innovate will offer autonomous shuttle ride experiences outside the exhibition hall. The ride experience operates on a round-trip route between KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 and Exhibition Hall 2, which has a parking lot, and visitors can freely board without a separate reservation during the event period. The autonomous vehicle is a type B shuttle without a driver's seat, which obtained the first permit to operate at a speed of 40 km/h in October last year.
Lotte will set up a 4-meter-tall giant Bellygom photo zone for visitors to the Seoul Mobility Show. Visitors who take photos at the photo zone and upload them to their social networking service (SNS) accounts will receive a Bellygom balloon on-site.
A Lotte official said, "We are participating in the Seoul Mobility Show for the first time to comprehensively introduce the mobility business, one of the group's new growth engines," and added, "We expect eco-friendly energy-based businesses such as battery materials, electric vehicle charging, and hydrogen energy to attract attention."
