Daejeon City Supports Delivery Fees for Traditional Markets and Small Business Riders

Daejeon City announced that it will implement a rider delivery support project starting from the 1st to help small business owners in traditional markets and shopping districts expand their online sales channels.

The support is available to stores affiliated with 65 traditional markets, shopping districts, and alley-type shopping districts in Daejeon. For each on- or offline delivery using a rider, 2,000 KRW per order will be subsidized, up to a maximum of 100,000 KRW per month.

Stores wishing to participate can apply through the dedicated website scheduled to open in April, and inquiries can be made to the Small Business Policy Team at the Daejeon Job and Economy Promotion Agency.

Kwon Kyungmin, Director of Economic Affairs for Daejeon City, said, "We hope this project will help ease the real burden on small business owners and serve as an opportunity to revitalize the online market."
