The 'Gwangju Youth Integrated Platform,' which provides essential youth policy information for young people in Gwangju, has officially launched.

On the 1st, Gwangju City announced that it has newly established the independent system 'Gwangju Youth Integrated Platform,' which was previously operated as a youth policy platform on its website. After a three-month pilot operation, the platform is now open to the public.

The 'Gwangju Youth Integrated Platform' is designed to enhance convenience, allowing young people to easily and quickly find the information they need and apply for services in a one-stop process. It offers various policies in fields such as employment, housing, education, welfare, and culture through AI-driven personalized services, and serves as an online platform for applying to various programs, consulting, and reserving spaces.

On the 'Gwangju Youth Integrated Platform,' users can find: ▲ information on youth policies from Gwangju City, local districts, and nationwide ▲ AI personalized services ▲ information on outstanding companies and job opportunities ▲ comprehensive youth counseling ▲ youth autonomous spaces ▲ support for capacity-building and learning, among others.

In particular, the AI personalized service analyzes user information, platform activity, and areas of interest to recommend relevant programs, related content, and information on nearby youth spaces.

The comprehensive youth counseling area offers phone, in-person, and bulletin board consultations to address inquiries related to employment, entrepreneurship, education, financial support, and youth policies.

Additionally, by utilizing the open API provided by 'Goyong24,' users can search for jobs, access information about promising companies and excellent workplaces, find training courses for the National Tomorrow Learning Card, participate in work-study programs, and engage in e-learning.

Youth autonomous spaces are areas where young people can share hobbies and develop ideas. Currently, information on over 100 public spaces is available, and around 50 private spaces will be added to provide guidance on space information and reservation methods for youth.

To expand the platform's user base and increase awareness, the city will hold a social media (SNS) promotional event until the 18th. Among the participants, 300 people (30 winners of 30,000 KRW gift cards and 270 winners of 10,000 KRW gift cards) will be selected by lottery to receive 'Ttaenggyeoyo' public delivery app vouchers. Winners will be announced on the Gwangju Youth Integrated Platform on the 28th.

To participate, individuals must post a promotional image and hashtag (#GwangjuYouthIntegratedPlatform) about the platform's main page or policy information on their personal SNS, then submit the post link on the platform's event page. For more details on how to participate, refer to the Gwangju Youth Integrated Platform or the Gwangju City website.

Kim Kisuk, Director of the Education and Youth Bureau, stated, "We hope that the integrated platform will enable young people to access the information they need quickly and easily," adding, "We will continue to listen to user feedback and improve the platform, working harder to develop policies that provide practical help to young people."

Meanwhile, the Gwangju Youth Integrated Platform project is being promoted with funding from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's Local Extinction Response Fund. Along with building the online system, the city plans to create hub spaces for youth, strengthen policy connectivity, and establish an integrated support service system for young people.
