According to Gwangsan-gu on the 1st, the "2025 Manifesto Special Lecture" was recently held at Yoon Sangwon Hall on the 7th floor of the district office, with around 100 citizens and public officials in attendance. This special lecture was planned to enhance understanding of pledge projects and to strengthen the capabilities of field practitioners who implement policies.
The lecture was delivered by Lee Gwangjae, Secretary General of the Korea Manifesto Implementation Headquarters. Secretary General Lee addressed the topic of "Rewriting Local Autonomy, Resilience," examining the crises of modern society such as war, climate disasters, and deepening inequality, and emphasized the role of local governments and the importance of resilience in overcoming these challenges. He also stressed that restoring trust through continuous communication between citizens and administration is of utmost importance.
District Mayor Park Byungkyu stated, "In an era of growing uncertainty, we will strengthen the capabilities of local autonomy to build resilience and faithfully fulfill the pledges made to citizens," adding, "We will open the future of Gwangsan with sustainable, citizen-centered policies."
