Seongdong-gu to Establish Integrated Care Dedicated Desk from April... One-Stop Customized Medical Care Service!

Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jung Won-oh) announced that starting April 1, it will operate a 'Dedicated Integrated Care Desk' to enable residents to receive integrated services more easily and conveniently in various fields such as medical care, nursing, and caregiving.

This year, the district is focusing on promoting the 'Seongdong-type Integrated Care Support Project' to help residents enjoy a healthy old age where they live, providing customized integrated support for care services in various areas such as healthcare, health management, and housing according to individual needs.

In addition, to allow residents to receive prompt and systematic services in medical and caregiving fields nearby, a dedicated desk has been newly established and will begin operation from April.

With just one consultation, residents can receive integrated support covering ▲home medical care support and other healthcare services ▲health management for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and dementia ▲nursing care including visiting nursing and day/night care ▲daily living support such as housekeeping ▲housing improvements including home repairs and fall prevention.

First, a 'Integrated Support Desk' has been installed at 17 community service centers. The 'Integrated Support Desk' provides one-stop services including discovering candidates for integrated care services, guidance and consultation on various welfare services, applications, and connections.

At 27 welfare centers and healthcare institutions in the region, an 'Integrated Information Desk' has been established. These include Seongdong-gu Public Health Center, National Health Insurance Service (Seongdong branch), senior welfare centers, comprehensive social welfare centers, dementia relief centers, healthcare institutions such as Seongdong Rehabilitation Clinic, and other service providers.

The 'Integrated Information Desk' utilizes the characteristics of institutions with high contact with residents to not only identify candidates early but also provide tailored welfare services to them after screening.

The district plans to conduct in-depth consultations through dedicated personnel for candidates discovered or registered via the 'Integrated Support Desk' and 'Integrated Information Desk.' Based on the personalized integrated support plans established through this process, relevant departments, private welfare organizations, and health management institutions will collaborate to provide appropriate services to the candidates.

Jung Won-oh, Mayor of Seongdong-gu, said, “Through the establishment of the 'Dedicated Integrated Care Desk,' we hope that any resident in need of care in various fields such as medical and housing can receive prompt consultations and practical help close to where they live.” He added, “We will continue to build a dense 'Seongdong-type Integrated Care System' without blind spots in care based on organic cooperation with related institutions.”
