Jangseong County Recruiting Trainees for 'Basic Agriculture Course' for Aspiring Return-to-Farm Residents

Systematic Introductory Training for Prospective Farmers

Jangseong County in Jeollanam-do announced that it is recruiting trainees for the 'Basic Agricultural Course for Prospective Return-to-Farmers' until April 2.


This course is a basic educational program designed to reduce trial and error in the early stages of returning to farming and to support stable settlement. Starting from April 16, a total of 10 lectures will be held twice a month. The curriculum focuses on practical content such as ▲introductory education for return-to-farmers ▲hands-on experience in crop cultivation by type ▲field trips to leading farms.

Applications can be submitted in person at the Jangseong County Agricultural Technology Center or by fax. Detailed schedules and course information can be found on the websites of the Jangseong County Agricultural Technology Center or the Return-to-Farm/Return-to-Village Support Center, or via the KakaoTalk channel.


An official from the county said, "The education will also provide opportunities to interact with experienced return-to-farmers," and added, "We hope participants will build a solid foundation in agriculture and start their new rural life with stability."


Meanwhile, Jangseong County is operating various support projects for return-to-farmers, including settlement support projects, on-site training for new farmers, and specialized counseling for return-to-farmers. Application schedules and requirements can be checked with the Rural Support Division's Return-to-Farm Management Team or on the county's website.
