"Constitutional Court Should Promptly Set Date for Yoon's Impeachment Verdict"
On the 30th, Yoon Sang-hyun, a member of the People Power Party, criticized first-term lawmakers of the Democratic Party who warned of the total impeachment of Cabinet members if the nominee for Constitutional Court Justice Ma Eun-hyuk was not appointed, saying it "evokes the terrifying scenes of the Islamic militant group IS kidnapping prisoners and beheading them one by one."
At a press conference held at the National Assembly that day, Rep. Yoon stated, "The 'Kim Eo-jun-style legislative dictatorship' scenario, which aims to paralyze the Cabinet meeting by impeaching all Cabinet members and making it impossible to exercise the right to request reconsideration of bills, is being carried out through first-term lawmakers of the Democratic Party."

Rep. Yoon said, "We cannot help but condemn Kim Eo-jun, who turned the 'hall of the people's will' National Assembly into a 'den of terror,' and the Democratic Party lawmakers who follow him," urging, "The Democratic Party must immediately stop its reckless politics of fear."
He also held the Constitutional Court accountable, arguing that the impeachment trial verdict on President Yoon Seok-yeol should be promptly delivered to stabilize the nation.
Rep. Yoon cited the legal adage, "Delayed justice is not justice," and pointed out, "It is a contradictory act that the Constitutional Court, which promised a swift trial, has yet to even set a date for the verdict." He added, "The Constitutional Court should promptly set the verdict date for President Yoon's impeachment trial as early as tomorrow and deliver a ruling on the impeachment case."
