"Democratic Party Freshman Lawmakers Must Resign Immediately"
On the 30th, Ahn Cheol-soo, a member of the People Power Party, criticized the Democratic Party's freshman lawmakers for threatening to impeach all Cabinet members if candidate Ma Eun-hyuk is not appointed as a Constitutional Court justice, saying, "Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party, has led the freshman lawmakers to threaten impeachment."
On the same day, Ahn stated on social media (SNS), "There is no way that Leader Lee was unaware of the 72 freshmen publicly advocating for impeachment," expressing his criticism.

The 'Deomincho,' a group of freshman lawmakers from the Democratic Party, declared on the 28th, "If Acting President and Prime Minister Han Duck-soo does not appoint candidate Ma by the 30th, we will resume impeachment proceedings," adding, "This is a warning to all Cabinet members as well. If the acting president succeeds and does not appoint candidate Ma, we will immediately proceed with impeachment without any further discussion."
Ahn wrote, "(Leader Lee) pretends to care about people's livelihoods on the surface, but on the other hand, he has pulled out the impeachment threat card by putting freshman lawmakers at the forefront," calling it "utterly cowardly."
He further claimed, "(Leader Lee) was acquitted in the second trial of the Public Official Election Act case, but the Supreme Court ruling is expected before the end of June, and many judicial risks remain, including the Daejang-dong development corruption and North Korea remittance cases," adding, "He is rushing the presidential election and mobilizing freshmen to eliminate future judicial risks."
Regarding the Democratic Party's freshman lawmakers, Ahn immediately demanded their resignation. He said, "With all-encompassing crises in diplomacy, finance, and people's livelihoods, it is unimaginable to talk about total Cabinet impeachment. I cannot help but question their sanity," and criticized, "The 72 who have betrayed the people and their livelihoods should promptly resign from their parliamentary seats."
