Upgraded from Bronze in Last Year's First Evaluation
to Platinum This Year
Kolon ENP has achieved the highest rating, 'Platinum,' in the global ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) evaluation conducted by EcoVadis.
On the 28th, Kolon ENP announced this result, noting that it improved by three levels compared to last year's first evaluation, where it received a 'Bronze' rating. EcoVadis is a global ESG evaluation organization established in France in 2007. It assesses the sustainability and social responsibility performance of companies based on four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, covering 150,000 companies across 185 countries worldwide. EcoVadis assigns ratings based on evaluation results as follows: Platinum (top 1%), Gold (top 5%), Silver (top 15%), and Bronze (top 35%).

Last year, Kolon ENP continued its efforts for ESG management by expanding family-friendly management and introducing anti-corruption (ISO37001) and compliance management (ISO37301) systems. In June of last year, it published its first-ever sustainability management report since its founding. In September, it joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and declared adherence to its principles. Additionally, it strengthened sustainability in its business by launching the brand 'ECO,' composed of products made with eco-friendly materials.
