Previously, last year, the county spent 60 million KRW to provide subsidies for water supply pipe improvements to a total of 5 locations and 85 households, including Daemyeong Apartment Complex.

The eligible recipients are: ▲(Priority 1) Basic livelihood security recipients and lower-income households who own their homes ▲(Priority 2) Houses with indoor water supply systems made of galvanized pipes ▲(Priority 3) Houses completed before 2000. Houses exceeding water quality standards may be given priority support.

However, houses that have received support within the last five years or have received approval for redevelopment, reconstruction, or remodeling projects are excluded.

Households wishing to participate in the project can apply in person at the county’s Water and Sewerage Office or at their local town or township administrative welfare center. Recipients will be selected through document review and on-site inspections. For more information, contact the Water Supply Team at the Gochang County Water and Sewerage Office.

Ko Kwangsu, head of the county Water and Sewerage Office, said, “We will do our best to ensure that safe and clean tap water is supplied to every household, so that residents suffering from old water supply pipes can be relieved of inconvenience.”
