The JG Innovation Party held an on-site Supreme Council meeting at the campaign office of Jeong Cheolwon, candidate for Damyang County Governor, and launched an all-out effort to support the election of the party's "No. 1 local leader."

On the morning of the 27th, starting at 7:30 a.m., party leaders including Acting Party Leader Kim Sunmin participated in a morning greeting campaign with candidate Jeong. Acting Leader Kim, Floor Leader Hwang Unha, Supreme Council Members Hwang Myeongpil and Seo Wangjin, and lawmakers Kang Kyungsook, Cha Kyugeun, and Shin Jangshik held back-to-back joint meetings of the Supreme Council and the Election Countermeasures Committee at the candidate's office at 9 a.m., focusing on ways to support Jeong's campaign.

In addition, the party held a large-scale rally at Jungang Park in Damyang-eup with the participation of over 1,000 supporters and residents, promising to make this by-election a stepping stone for change and innovation in Damyang.

Kim Sunmin, Acting Party Leader, was the first to give a supporting speech, saying, "The JG Innovation Party will fully support candidate Jeong Cheolwon in fulfilling his campaign pledges. Twelve of our National Assembly members will become honorary Damyang County Governors. We always keep our promises," and urged voters to participate in the early voting on the 28th and 29th.

Following this, lawmakers Kang Kyungsook and Cha Kyugeun delivered speeches in support, and candidate Jeong's daughter-in-law Park Eunkyung also appealed for support. The rally heated up further with supporting remarks from artist Shin Jangseop and Supreme Council Member Hwang Myeongpil.

Candidate Jeong greeted each voter attending the rally with a handshake and then took the podium, saying, "During my 11 years of legislative service and as chairman of the county council, I have deeply communicated and empathized with the people of Damyang about the future of 'Millennium Damyang.' Through this election, I aim to lay a strong foundation for Damyang's development." He also made a deep bow to the voters from the podium, appealing for their support and receiving enthusiastic applause.

Meanwhile, Jeong Cheolwon's campaign committee announced both internally and externally that they would thoroughly monitor and self-regulate to prevent illegal electioneering, such as habitual voter transportation, during the two days of early voting starting on the 28th.
