Hanwha Life Financial Services announced on the 27th that it has become the first corporate insurance agency (GA) in the industry to obtain the nationally certified 'Information Security and Personal Information Protection Management System (ISMS-P)' certification.
The ISMS-P certification system is the most prestigious integrated certification system for information security and personal information protection in Korea. It is operated by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) under the joint notice of the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Personal Information Protection Commission. KISA is an organization established to promote the advancement and safe use of information and communication networks.
On the morning of the 26th, Hanwha Life Financial Services received the certification at the Information Security and Personal Information Protection Management System (ISMS-P) certification award ceremony held at the 63 Building. To obtain this certification, an organization must pass an audit based on 80 certification criteria in the information security management system area and 21 certification criteria in the personal information protection area.
Hanwha Life Financial Services received high evaluations for the stability and reliability of its integrated sales support platform, 'Orange System,' which led to the acquisition of this certification. The Orange System provides functions such as customer management, coverage analysis, and contract and performance management.
A representative responsible for customer information protection at Hanwha Life Financial Services stated, “This certification acquisition is the result of continuous investment to strengthen information security and personal information protection. We will continue to do our best to protect our customers' valuable information and provide trustworthy and secure services.”
Meanwhile, in December of last year, Hanwha Life Financial Services became the first in the GA industry to receive an 'A+' rating from Korea's three major credit rating agencies.
