Minister Yoon In-chon’s Assets Total 17.7 Billion Won... Increased by 736.45 Million Won

Second Vice Minister Jang Miran Holds 1 Billion KRW in Wealth

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Yoo In-chon reported assets worth 17.735 billion KRW, an increase of 736.45 million KRW compared to last year, including his and his spouse's property. Among national high-ranking public officials subject to asset disclosure, Minister Yoo ranked seventh in terms of wealth.


According to the "2025 Regular Asset Changes of High-ranking Public Officials" published on the 27th by the Government Public Officials Ethics Committee in the electronic gazette, Minister Yoo owns an apartment in Hyundai, Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (144.7㎡) valued at 3.042 billion KRW and a forest land in Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do (2,330㎡) worth 32.86 million KRW under his name. Additionally, under his spouse's name, he reported an apartment in Trimage, Seongsu-dong 1-ga, Seongdong-gu, Seoul (152.16㎡) valued at 4.5 billion KRW and a commercial property in Sindang-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul worth 530 million KRW.


Minister Yoo also reported owning 2020 model Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles for both himself and his spouse. The current value of his vehicle was reported as 108.15 million KRW, and his spouse's vehicle was valued at 252.35 million KRW.


The reported deposit amounts were 1.42043 billion KRW for himself and 2.71356 billion KRW for his spouse, totaling 4.13399 billion KRW.

Minister Yoo also disclosed owning listed stocks with a total valuation of 1.61614 billion KRW. It was confirmed that he holds shares in Samsung Electronics, Tokyo Electron, Amazon.com, and Nvidia. Previously held stocks in LG Electronics and SK Hynix were confirmed to have been fully disposed of.


The total securities assets reported by Minister Yoo and his spouse, including government and public bonds, amounted to 5.02699 billion KRW.


Minister Yoo also reported owning a Yongpyong Resort condo membership worth 97.57 million KRW and his spouse owning a Sae Seoul Leisure condo membership worth 1.2 billion KRW. Building rental debts amounted to 700 million KRW.


Minister Yoo's two sons refused to disclose their assets citing independent livelihood reasons.


First Vice Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Yong Ho-seong reported assets worth 2.67279 billion KRW, an increase of 120.19 million KRW compared to last year.


His real estate assets included an apartment in Mapo-gu, Seoul (990 million KRW), a leasehold right on an apartment in Yongsan-gu, Seoul (720 million KRW), leasehold rights on an apartment and multi-family housing in Gangnam-gu, Seoul (410 million KRW), and a leasehold right on an apartment in Gangnam-gu, Seoul under his mother's name (270 million KRW), totaling 2.607 billion KRW.


Second Vice Minister Jang Mi-ran reported assets worth 1.03783 billion KRW, an increase of 128.78 million KRW compared to the previous report.


Her land assets included a field in Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do (92.75 million KRW) and forest land in Hoengseong-gun (50 million KRW), totaling 142.75 million KRW. She also reported commercial properties in Wonju-si and leasehold rights on an apartment in Jung-gu, Seoul worth 909 million KRW, along with deposits totaling 182.29 million KRW.
