According to legal circles on the 26th, the Seoul Central District Court has been assigning security personnel and security vehicles to Chief Judge Ji during his commute since last week.
Chief Judge Ji faced attacks, including critical posts online, after issuing a decision on the 7th to cancel the detention of President Yoon Seok-yeol.
In addition to President Yoon's trial, Criminal Division 25 is also handling cases involving defendants accused of insurrection, such as Kim Yong-hyun, Minister of National Defense, Cho Ji-ho, Commissioner of the National Police Agency, and Kim Bong-sik, former Commissioner of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
