Delegation to Be Dispatched to the 2025 Hannover Messe

The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced on the 26th that it will dispatch a delegation representing industrial complexes to the world's largest industrial technology fair, '2025 Hannover Messe.'

The 2025 Hannover Messe, under the theme 'Opening the Future with Technology,' will highlight global industrial technology trends such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, robotics, and energy innovation. It is scheduled to be held in Hannover, Germany, from March 31 to April 4 (local time).

The delegation consists of 23 members from the Global Leading Companies Association (Chairman Min Dong-wook), Korea Industrial Complex Managers Association (Chairman Lee Gye-woo), Changwon National University (President Park Min-won), Kunsan National University (President Lee Jang-ho), and local governments. This visit follows the Korea-Germany LNI 4.0 (Labs Network Industrie 4.0) memorandum of understanding signed last October, aiming to review European data standard (AAS) application cases and discuss concrete plans for introducing them to domestic industrial complexes.

They plan to visit exhibition halls to explore cases of infrastructure construction necessary for manufacturing data collection, storage, and analysis, as well as the digital transformation of industrial complexes and the adoption of AI manufacturing technologies. Additionally, they will review networks among German manufacturing companies and derive improvement directions for the 'Smart K-Factory Platform' operated by the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation to support and connect manufacturing industries.

Lee Sang-hoon, President of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, stated, "The dispatch of this delegation is a strategic move to achieve tangible results in the digital transformation projects of industrial complexes. We plan to directly experience world-leading technologies and digital infrastructure construction cases and, based on this, to concretize support policies for the digital transformation (DX) and AI transition of tenant companies."
