Teacher Support Group Participates
"Immediate Application in Classroom Instruction"
The Gwangju Office of Education announced on the 26th that it has distributed a booklet containing analysis materials of previous exam questions to all high schools in the region to support the studies of 12th-grade students preparing for the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).
The newly distributed "2025 CSAT Analysis and Classroom Application Guidebook" is based on previous CSAT and mock exam questions from major subjects such as Korean, Mathematics, English, Korean History, Social Studies, and Science. A total of 89 teachers with experience as item writers or reviewers for the CSAT or academic assessments in each subject participated in the analysis.

By subject, the team consisted of 17 for Korean, 18 for Mathematics, 15 for English, 4 for Korean History, 15 for Social Studies (Life and Ethics, Korean Geography, Society and Culture), and 20 for Science (Physics I, Chemistry I, Biology I, Earth Science I). They analyzed questions in each area and also presented application strategies that can be directly utilized in classroom instruction.
The "CSAT Preparation Teacher Support Group," which participated in the creation of the booklet, also plans to develop and distribute the Gwangju Office of Education's own mock assessment, "Gwangju Final Completion," to high schools in the future. This mock assessment is scheduled to be administered in August and October, when there are no nationwide exams.
Superintendent Lee Jungseon stated, "We are strengthening customized support so that 12th-grade students can prepare for the CSAT with stability and pursue their desired career paths," and added, "We will provide the latest admissions information and learning materials needed in the field in a timely manner."
