On the 25th, Taekwang Group's financial affiliates, Heungkuk Life Insurance and Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance, announced that they will provide financial support for customers affected by wildfires.
Heungkuk Life Insurance and Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance will offer support to customers in wildfire-affected areas, including a 6-month grace period for insurance premium payments, a 6-month deferment of loan principal and interest repayments, expedited payment of accident insurance claims, and prompt payment of advance claims. Additionally, Heungkuk Life Insurance customers can apply for a 6-month reduction in insurance policy loan interest.
The financial support targets customers residing in the specially declared disaster areas of Sancheong-gun and Hadong-gun in Gyeongnam, Ulju-gun in Ulsan, and Uiseong-gun in Gyeongbuk, who have been affected by the wildfires.
Applications for this financial support are available until the end of April, and customers can receive guidance on necessary procedures through each company's call center.
