Hongseong Women's Saeil Center announced that on the morning of the 25th, an opening ceremony for the 2025 "Companion Animal-Assisted Activity Specialist Community Startup Education" course was held in the Saeil Center's training room, attended by around 20 trainees and related officials, marking the official start of the program.

This companion animal-assisted activity specialist startup education program, which will be conducted three times a week for a total of 150 hours, is designed to align with the infrastructure development of Hongseong-gun and the companion animal-related industry (One-Welfare Valley). The curriculum includes both the qualification course for companion animal-assisted activity specialists and basic startup training.

The companion animal-assisted activity specialist course is a program that trains "companion animal-assisted activity specialists," who use companion animals as a medium to promote emotional stability, stress relief, psychological healing and learning, and physical activity.

In particular, this training will provide opportunities to analyze startup trends in the companion animal industry, create and offer business models, and conduct education, thereby helping participants develop their capabilities as prospective entrepreneurs in the local companion animal business sector.

Center Director Lee Eunmi said, "We expect this program will provide opportunities for women in the region who wish to start a business but are struggling due to vague fears and lack of information, and that it will be of great help in creating jobs in the local community."
