Operating Profit Reaches 4.9 Billion KRW
"Focusing on Creating New Customers"
Eduwill succeeded in turning a profit last year by focusing on its online business.
Eduwill announced on the 25th that it recorded sales of 82.6 billion KRW and an operating profit of 4.9 billion KRW last year. Compared to the previous year, sales decreased by 26%, but the company turned a profit. Eduwill had recorded an operating loss of 12 billion KRW in 2023.
Eduwill explained, "Under the leadership of owner Yang Hyung-nam, who returned to the forefront of management, we reorganized our business portfolio focusing on the online business we originally excelled at," adding, "Cost efficiency, organizational restructuring, activation of internal communication, and the owner's personal financial contributions combined to produce these results."
Based on last year's achievements, Eduwill plans to continue its efforts this year to secure a leading position in the blue-collar certification market, launch new educational courses, and create new customers through senior and multicultural education as well as global expansion. The company also intends to generate sales by utilizing its blue-collar certification platform.
In particular, the company is promoting the company-wide 'MEGA (Make Eduwill Great Again) Project' this year. This project, meaning "Let's make Eduwill great again," centers on a 'co-evolution strategy' involving collaboration with institutions and companies in other industries as well as the same industry. Through recruiting talented personnel and creating a positive corporate culture, the company plans to foster a vibrant organizational culture characterized by communication, respect, consideration, and growth among employees.
A company representative stated, "This year, based on trust with customers, we will become a company that grows together with the public through organic marketing where customers become marketers themselves."
