Promoting Communication and Exchange
Hampyeong County, Jeollanam-do announced on the 24th that it is accepting applications for the 'Jeonnam-type Youth Community Revitalization Project' to help local youth establish a foundation for independence and to invigorate the local community.
This year, Hampyeong County plans to select a total of three teams, providing each with a project execution budget of 6 million KRW. Additionally, the county will support youth networking events such as performance-sharing meetings and workshops.
Eligible project areas include: ▲ Activities to boost local vitality such as community-linked events ▲ Research and investigation-based activities connecting youth and the region ▲ Activities to contribute to and encourage settlement in the local community ▲ Initiatives to promote communication and exchange among youth.
Eligible applicants are youth organizations (teams, corporations, non-profit organizations, etc.) interested in local revitalization. Each team must consist of at least five members aged 19 to 49, with at least 60% residing in Hampyeong County.
The application period runs until the 4th of next month. The selected teams will carry out community activities according to their own plans until November. Interested youth can apply in person at the Population and Economy Division of Hampyeong County Office or by registered mail. County Governor Lee Sangik said, "We are continuing to provide various support in addition to the project execution budget so that youth can take the lead in local activities," and added, "We hope for the active interest and participation of local youth."
