Gwangju Transportation Corporation (President Cho Ikmun) announced on the 24th that it visited the site of the '2025 Korea Professional Baseball (KBO) KIA Tigers Home Opening Game' held at Gwangju Kia Champions Field (Champs Field) in Buk-gu, Gwangju on the 22nd, and carried out promotional activities for the spread of public transportation culture with related organizations through the 'Gwangju G-Pass' campaign.


At the event, which was attended by about 20 people including officials from Hanpaycis Transportation Card, Gwangju City, and the corporation, small prizes including the Gwangju G-Pass card were given to game spectators, encouraging participation in the successful transition to a 'Public Transportation-Oriented City.'


At the promotional site, various events for visitors, such as a Gwangju G-Pass photo zone featuring the Gwangju tourism character 'Omaena' and a prize roulette, were held and received a great response.


President Cho Ikmun stated, "Since a large crowd gathers on professional baseball game days, we hope people will use public transportation or eco-friendly means of transport," adding, "We will do our best to ensure safe subway operations so that citizens can enjoy the games."
