Shinhan Financial Group, Bank, and Card
Ranked No. 1 in Six Categories
in KMAC's Brand Power Survey
Shinhan Financial Group announced on the 24th that Shinhan Financial Group, Shinhan Bank, and Shinhan Card were selected as the number one brands in a total of six categories in the '2025 Korea Industry Brand Power (K-BPI)' survey conducted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC).
The 'Korea Industry Brand Power (K-BPI)' is an index measured annually in March by KMAC through consumer surveys to assess the competitiveness of major domestic industry brands closely related to consumer life.
Shinhan Financial Group launched the 'Bring-Up & Value-Up Project' last September through collaboration among group companies to support credit improvement and financial cost reduction for mid-credit customers of savings banks. Through this, the group was recognized for its efforts to fulfill its role and responsibility as a corporate citizen and was selected as the number one brand in the 'Financial Group (Holding Company)' category for 14 consecutive years.
Shinhan Bank was highly evaluated for its customer-centric management performance, ranking first in the 'Bank' category for 10 consecutive years, and its 'Shinhan Premier' was selected as number one in the 'Private Banking' category for 8 consecutive years, securing first place in a total of two categories.
Shinhan Card was recognized for its management performance and brand value, being selected as number one in the 'Credit Card' category for 14 consecutive years. Additionally, 'Shinhan SOL Pay' ranked first in the 'Simple Payment Service' category for 6 consecutive years, and the social contribution brand 'Shinhan Card Areum-in' was selected as number one in the 'Good Brand' category for 13 consecutive years, achieving first place in a total of three categories.
A Shinhan Financial Group official stated, "This award is meaningful as it recognizes our various support efforts for vulnerable groups and the provision of customer-centric financial services," adding, "Shinhan Financial Group will strive to further enhance Shinhan's brand value with the goal of creating a financial ecosystem based on empathy and coexistence and customer-centric management."
