Diageo Korea Launches Asia's First 'Guinness Nitro Surge'

Launch of Draft Beer Device and Dedicated Can

Guinness announced on the 24th that it will launch the 'Guinness Nitrosurge' device and a dedicated can product for the first time in Asia, in Korea.

The Guinness Nitrosurge device is a machine that allows you to enjoy Guinness draft beer. Using ultrasonic technology, it maximizes Guinness's signature 'Surging Effect' to deliver deep flavor and a creamy head.

Guinness also developed a dedicated can product optimized for the Nitrosurge device. The Guinness Nitrosurge dedicated can is not compatible with existing Guinness Draft cans or other beer and beverage cans, and is released in a 558ml size, the same pint size commonly served in pubs in Ireland and the UK.

Park Jun-hyung, Guinness Brand Marketing Team Manager, said, "Nitrosurge is another product introduced first in the Asian market in Korea, following the 'Guinness Cold Brew Coffee Beer' launched in 2023 and the non-alcoholic product 'Guinness 0.0' released last year. Consumers can enjoy Guinness draft beer at home just like they do in pubs."
