Lee Sumin Appointed as New CEO of Noroo Loginet
Lee, the New CEO, a Veteran "Noroo Man" with 29 Years of Experience
"Revamping the Organization with a Younger Workforce"
Kim Yong-gi, Vice Chairman of Noroo Paint, stepped down from his position just four months after being appointed CEO of Noroo Paint.
Noroo Paint announced on the 21st that at the regular shareholders' meeting, Lee Soo-min, CEO of Noroo Loginet, was newly appointed as CEO.
Previously, Noroo Paint appointed Vice Chairman Kim as CEO in December last year. This marks his return to the CEO position after stepping down in 2022 for two years. Kim joined the Noroo Group in 2015 and has served as CEO of Noroo Paint, and since 2016, he has been serving as CEO of Noroo Holdings.
The company explained the CEO change as due to "personal reasons."
Meanwhile, the newly appointed CEO Lee, born in 1970, joined Noroo Paint in 1996 and is a seasoned Noroo man with over 20 years of experience in finance and planning departments responsible for corporate management. In 2021, he was appointed CEO of Noroo Group's logistics affiliate Noroo Loginet, demonstrating his leadership and management capabilities.
In his inaugural speech, CEO Lee said, “We will create new business opportunities to diversify the company’s portfolio,” and added, “To flexibly respond to rapidly changing market conditions and the economic environment, we will prioritize thorough analysis and preparation of countermeasures to achieve stable growth and sustainable management.”
Noroo Paint stated, “To overcome the economic downturn, we appointed a young leader born in 1970,” and added, “Through organizational reform into a younger organization, we will secure organizational flexibility and strengthen practical operation.”
