GS Engineering & Construction announced on the 21st that it will participate in the world's largest global Earth Hour 2025 campaign to turn off lights for the environment.

Earth Hour is the world's largest climate crisis response campaign organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), a nonprofit nature conservation organization. Since 2007, it has been held every year on the last Saturday of March, from 8:30 PM for one hour, encouraging participants to turn off their lights to share the seriousness of climate change and contribute to energy saving and carbon emission reduction.

In this year's 19th event, GS E&C's headquarters building 'Grand Seoul' located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, the 'GS E&C R&D Center Seocho Building' in Seocho-dong, and 'Elysian Gangchon, Jeju' will hold a lights-off event for one hour starting at 8:30 PM on the 22nd.

Additionally, GS Group and its affiliates, including GS Tower, GS Gangseo Tower, GS Gangseo N Tower, Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas, and Nine Tree by Parnas, are expected to participate in the event at their respective locations.

A GS E&C official stated, "Through participating in Earth Hour, we will actively engage in eco-friendly campaigns such as climate change policies, energy saving, and carbon emission reduction."
