On-site Consultation for Daily Life Grievances
to Be Held at County Office on the 27th
in Collaboration with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission
Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Seo Tae-won) announced on the 21st that it will operate the "Running People's Complaints Center" at Gapyeong County Office on the 27th in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission. The county urged active participation so that residents can resolve their daily life difficulties on this day.
The "Running People's Complaints Center" is an on-site civil complaint consultation service where a counseling team composed of officials from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and partner organizations directly visits the area to listen to residents' grievances and seek solutions. This "Running People's Complaints Center" will be held on the 27th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the large conference room on the 3rd floor of Gapyeong County Office. Notably, consultations are available not only for Gapyeong residents but also for residents of nearby Namyangju City and Pocheon City.
On-site consultations cover all aspects of administration including administration, culture, education, finance, taxation, welfare, labor, industry, agriculture, environment, housing, and construction, with investigators from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission conducting the consultations. Additionally, partner organizations such as the Korea Legal Aid Corporation, Korea Consumer Agency, Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation, and the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency will participate to provide consultations on various daily life complaints including legal issues, consumer damage, land registration, and inclusive finance. Issues that can be resolved immediately on-site will be addressed promptly, while complaints requiring further investigation will be accepted and handled after in-depth investigation and consultation with related agencies.
Gapyeong-gun has accepted advance reservations through the county office and township offices for smooth consultation, but residents who have not made prior applications can also receive consultations on the day (27th) by bringing their ID for on-site registration.
Governor Seo Tae-won said, "I hope that the 'Running People's Complaints Center,' where government agencies directly address residents' grievances, will become an opportunity to provide trusted administrative services," and added, "I look forward to many residents resolving their daily difficulties through the consultations."
