Cooperation on Korean Medicine and Rehabilitation Programs
Yeongdeok County in North Gyeongsang Province signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a cooperative system with Pohang Korean Medicine Hospital on the 20th of this month, following a similar agreement with Daegu Haany University on the 28th of last month, to promote the health of county residents and revitalize traditional Korean medicine services.

The agreement signed by Yeongdeok County, the Department of Korean Medicine and the Department of Korean Medicine Rehabilitation Sports at Daegu Haany University, and the Yeongdeok Silver Welfare Center includes the development of programs to promote the health of Yeongdeok residents, operation of Korean medicine and rehabilitation programs within the county, and fostering talent and revitalizing education through human and material exchanges.

Furthermore, the agreement with Pohang Korean Medicine Hospital formalized cooperation on projects to promote the health of Yeongdeok residents, support for Korean medicine services, consultation and project implementation related to medical care and nursing, and strengthening collaboration for mutual development.
County Governor Kim Kwangyeol stated, "Through this agreement, we expect to provide more professional and systematic Korean medicine and rehabilitation programs to local residents and users of care facilities," adding, "We will continue to build a close-knit cooperative relationship that contributes to the development of local healthcare for the health and happiness of our residents."
