BMC InnoTizen is operated to reflect citizens' voices in all aspects of the corporation's management, including management innovation, proactive administration, and ESG management. Since its launch in 2020, this year marks the recruitment of the 6th group.
Starting with this inauguration ceremony, the 6th BMC InnoTizen, who will be active until the end of this year, was recruited through an open application process via the corporation's website and SNS channels.
Twenty new members were selected, considering a diverse range of ages from their 20s to 50s, as well as gender, occupations, and relevant experience. Notably, two outstanding members from last year's activities who wished to continue also joined.
The event was attended by BMC President Shin Changho, Planning and Management Headquarters Director Woo Miok, and the InnoTizen members, and proceeded with the following order: awarding of appointment certificates, introduction of the corporation, and guidance on InnoTizen activities.
Shin Changho, President of Busan Metropolitan Corporation, said, "As the name InnoTizen, a combination of 'Innovation' and 'Citizen,' suggests, the valuable opinions of Busan citizens are a great driving force for the corporation's innovation and development. We will actively support both online and offline activities so that the voices of InnoTizen can be truly reflected in our management."
